POÉTICA DA RECORRÊNCIA: POESIA, MEMÓRIA E PLASTICIDADE EM FERREIRA GULLAR

Resumo:
Pretende-se fazer uma leitura crítica da poesia de Ferreira Gullar, desde A luta corporal (1954), considerado o primeiro livro de sua carreira, até o Em alguma parte alguma (2010). Levaremos em conta alguns aspectos de sua escrita que apontam para um estilo poético que faz uso de traços de memória, através de temas e imagens recorrentes. Além de destacarmos o uso de elementos do campo das artes plásticas na composição dos poemas, aproximando assim, à função do poeta, a experiência do crítico de arte – atividade também desempenhada por Gullar. Transitando sempre entre uma ou outra possibilidade de ser, entre o universal e o particular, entre o poeta e o homem comum, Ferreira Gullar, poeta maranhense, tem uma notória participação na literatura brasileira com publicações significativas tanto no terreno da poesia quanto no da crítica de artes plásticas, desde a década de 50. Interessa-nos, aqui, compreender a poesia de Ferreira Gullar a partir da leitura crítica de seus poemas e de seu discurso poético, destacando os elementos que compõem uma poética de recorrência.

Abstract:
We intend to do a critical reading of Ferreira Gullar’s poetry, starting from A luta corporal (1954), considered to be his first book, to Em alguma parte alguma (2010). We will take into account some aspects of his writing that indicate a poetic style that uses traces of memory through recurring themes and images. In addition, we will highlight the use of elements of the visual arts field in the composition of poems, nearing the poet’s function to the experience of the art critic – activity also performed by Gullar. Always shifting between different possibilities of being, between the universal and the particular, between the poet and the common man, Ferreira Gullar, poet from Maranhão, has notorious participation in Brazilian literature with significant publications both in poetry and in the critical field of visual arts, since 1950. Here, we are interested in understand Ferreira Gullar’s poetry through the critical reading of his poems and his poetic discourse, emphasizing the elements that compose a poetry of recurrence.
