Abstract:

The woman and her role in traditional patriarchal family in decay are in the stage of fictional narratives of Lya Luft. Given the patterns that traditionally arrest the subjects, they form a legion of losers. This paper aims to analyze the family constitutions in the novels of Lya Luft from feminist perspectives. Knowing that the family institution is a social and cultural control of space, we intend to understand how luftianas characters are engendered in these patriarchal spaces. From the pre-established models for each sex, women are conditioned to patterns of behavior characterized as natural, such as maternity and care. In this context, the family is of fundamental importance in the standardization of female behavior. Immersed in its social functions historically constructed, the characters of Lya Luft suffer twice: for not meeting your destination and not accept it. Thus, are analyzed here the first six narratives productions  Partner, The angel left wing, Family reunion, The closed room, Exile and the sentinel  and his most recent publication, 2012, The tiger in the shade. For this purpose, launches hand of feminist literary and theoretical postulates.
