The work aims to provide a profile of nordestinidade [the feeling of being Northeastern] found in contemporary literary and cinematographic works, from the analyze of Northeastern spaces which permeate the Antônio Torres trilogy, in the novels Essa Terra (1976), O cachorro e o lobo (1997) and Pelo fundo da agulha (2006), and the cinematography of Árido Movie (2005), by Lírio Ferreira, and 2000 Nordestes (2000), documentary directed by David França Mendes and Vicente Amorim. The reconfiguration of Northeastern Brazil marked by the free access to the new technologies has changed the meaning of these spaces, which are represented by an imaginary of precariousness consisted of the literature and cinema in the 1930s to 1970s. Nowadays, the view on the Northeastern environment enables other possibilities of understanding ways of life and the social organization of these people, as well as belonging forms and notions inscribed in the subjectivity of individuals who belong to these places. Studying how fictional, territorial, biographic and cultural Northeastern spaces have been forming and changing as a result of the contact with new technologies is the main objective of this work.

O trabalho tem como objetivo discutir o perfil da nordestinidade apresentado pelas obras literárias e cinematográficas contemporâneas, a partir da análise do Espaço Nordeste que permeia a trilogia do escritor Antônio Torres nos romances Essa Terra (1976), O cachorro e o lobo (1997) e Pelo fundo da agulha (2006) e da cinematografia de Árido Movie (2005), de Lírio Ferreira e 2000 Nordestes (2000), documentário dirigido por David França Mendes e Vicente Amorim. A reconfiguração do Nordeste brasileiro, marcada pelo livre acesso às novas tecnologias, tem deslocado o significado destes espaços representados por um imaginário de precariedades, construído pela literatura e pelo cinema das décadas de 1930 a 1970. Hoje, o olhar sobre a paisagem nordestina possibilita outras maneiras de apreender os modos de vida e a organização social desta população, assim como as formas e noções de pertencimento habitadas na subjetividade dos indivíduos pertencentes a esses lugares. Estudar como os espaços ficcionais, territoriais, biográficos e culturais nordestinos vêm se constituindo e transformando a partir do contato com as novas tecnologias é a principal meta deste trabalho.
